Raúl Olivares, MD

Dr Raúl Olivares is a Medical Director at Barcelona IVF. He has been working in assisted reproduction since 1994. In his former clinic, he created one of the first Spanish International Departments that started working with patients from abroad. In 2010, together with his current partner, Dr Olivares decided that he wanted to change something in the way they were treating patients. They launched a project, that was not only about the state-of-the-art techniques and processes, but also about going along with the patients and working with them, and offering highly individualized and personalized treatment. They were one of the first clinics in Spain starting to transfer single embryos at the blastocyst stage and, also, one of the first teams who performed PGS on blastocysts.

Since then and during the last 10 years, they have been pioneers in IMSI or Embryoscope. Now, they have a big team of gynecologists, embryologists, andrologists, patient assistants, nurses, with a lot of experience in this field.
